I used to be a member of Gaijin Riders from 2013 to 2018. Just checking in again to see what's going on. I lived and rode in Japan duing the great years 1985 - 1987, had a wonderful time, and rode through all prefectures but 3 on my 1984 Honda CBX 750F (red). Since then gone through a transalp 1985, and since 2007 I've been riding a KTM 990 Adventure, and it still ticks like clockwork after a lot of mileage. Been riding in Japan on several occasions since 1987, either on rented bikes, or on my brother in law's naked Honda. Planning a new trip in 2026, with 2 mates, and will rent this time. Any advise on good rental shops? I've used rental819 earlier. All the best, Ogi, Norway

Howdy, 819 is still the best imo. Where will you be heading away from and which areas?
